Perk for Paid Subs: Snapshot of Entire Cheap JP Basket (All my writeups / commentary will remain free)

I don't intend on ever putting writeups/investment thoughts behind a paywall, but will share semi annual snapshots of the cheap JP basket with paid subs (Without commentary).

The goal of this substack is to share ideas and improve my own research process. This is why I’ve never put any of my ideas behind a paywall and don’t intend to. I make my money investing, not writing.

I am however grateful to the numerous people who chose to be a paid subscriber despite getting absolutely nothing in return. I thought about offering something to paid subscribers without compromising on the idea that all my writeups/commentary will be free to everyone and landed on sharing a semi-annual snapshot of the 120+ stocks in my cheap Japanese basket. The snapshot will include

• Tickers / Names

• Average purchase price

• Sizing (quantity of shares and % of basket)

There won’t be any commentary in these semi annual snapshots or trade history. Just a list of companies in the cheap Japanese basket with my current sizing and historical average cost basis.

I’m already pretty open about most of the names in the basket and routinely comment about them on my X account and on Substack.

I appreciate paid subscriptions as they’re a signal that others value my work. Nothing will change for free subscribers. You should not expect anything from me for subscribing. Think of it as a tip! I write on here mostly for fun. I may stop publishing this at my discretion. The annual price is the Substack default of $80. I’m not trying to maximize revenue.
